Yup that’s true… What a piece of advice !
Arranging iPhone Applications…
When you have lots of apps on your iPhone, you always think of a way to rearrange them.
iTunes gives you the option to rearrange your iPhone applications, which is a very useful feature. But iTunes does not save your previous settings regarding application arrangement.
Every time I restore my iPhone or upgrade it to a newer version, my applications gets messy. I spend more than half an hour trying to rearrange them, which becomes really annoying and stressful. I wish Apple would do something about it with the next iTunes update. They got all the geniuses working for them, I am sure they can figure it out somehow.
How come apple hasn’t thought about it…
As we all know, everyone saves bookmarks on their browsers. Today, I was asking myself, how come Apple hasn’t thought about duplicate bookmarks? Sometimes I end up with a lot of bookmarks that are already there on my laptop. Safari browser should have a function for deleting duplicate bookmarks the same way they have in “Font Book”, where you can delete duplicate fonts.
They can easily make it simple, as it searches for the main website addresses.
Let’s say for example I saved a bookmark that has this address :
but I do have another bookmark that has this address:
http://www.apple.com/ca/downloads/
Now they can give me a list of options to choose from: Merging bookmarks, putting similar bookmarks in a folder, or just leaving it the way it is.
I think that Firefox has an extension (Add-on) that does all of that.
But why not Safari? It is one of the best Internet browsers in the world, why not make it perfect in all aspects !

Why isn’t there a Dictionary website that has a Twitter account, and Tweets new words to their followers every day? People will also have the ability to tweet words from their websites.. Think of it smart people out there !

BumpTop is a fun, intuitive 3D desktop that keeps you organized and makes you more productive.
I think this is really smart, even though it’s a Linux idea in the first place.. I think it will be perfect for me. Because I am a freelance graphic designer, I need space for my work. I need the feeling that I’m working in a real office. It can be more like my space, my virtual office ;) and I can design it the way I want.

Why doesn’t SAFARI, Google or other Internet browsers have a feature where u can tweet anything on the screen by right clicking on it ? Like you can tweet an image, text, link..etc, directly and easily?

We are experiencing an outage due to an extremely high number of whales. Our on-call team is working on a fix.
This is all because of Global Warming … Birds aren’t tweeting the way they used to.
Twitter is down…
Too many tweets! Please wait a moment and try again.”
Hmmm… Isn’t that why it’s called twitter? So that we can TWEET ??!!

This movie is about “Cloud Computing” in general and the future of technology and Internet.. Where it’s going to rule the world one day, even though more than maybe 90% of all companies are against cloud computing. Just watch the movie again and try to get the message behind the movie. Cloud computing and new online technologies is going to have games, softwares, TV channels all online. A user will use these services for a fee. He won’t need to install anything on his computer. He will not worry about software crashes nor maintenance. No more DVD’s, Blu-ray’s, Satellite channels…etc. Instead, everything will be on the cloud, your own cloud, your own new world. Specialists will take care of any problem, that’s why they’re gonna get paid, and that’s why you might pay a little bit more for these kind of services. Users won’t need more than a cheap computer to run and use all these stuff on their computers. They won’t need higher processors and more advanced specs. That means their computers can last for more than 5-10 years, or who knows maybe more, without the need of buying new ones. You might ask the following questions: What about security and privacy? How is this kind of technology possible to happen? Well…. Security and privacy..hmmm.. I think they can figure it out, I’m not an expert. But i know that they can manage these issues very easily. Take for example banks. It is so hard to break in a bank online and steal it, or maybe it is even impossible. I mean they’re safe and everyone is using it nowadays. Now, how is this technology possible? Well, there are these new cables, this new technology called “Light Peek”. These cables will be able to transfer data with a speed of 10GB/sec ! Now why would any individual need it that fast? The answer is simply because of what’s coming next to the world of internet and interactive media. We’re gonna need these cables, we’re gonna need 10x faster cables than these ones to stream online content and send/receive huge amounts of data online. All you gonna need is a LARGE screen, nice sound system, a keyboard and a mouse (and some other peripherals). That’s why companies are afraid they might work on a low profit. They’re afraid they’re gonna be selling small technologies instead of big ones such as Laptops, Desktops, DVD/Blu-ray players, receivers… etc. Even DVD’s for example, imagine you can have them all online, instead of losing them and having to buy new ones. I bet those DVD companies are gonna go crazy !
Just imagine how it feels like to be sitting home controlling the world, listening to music, watching HD movies, playing 3D or 4D games, having all the world’s TV Channels, working from home and seeing all your work colleagues with their offices online, having your own imaginary office with all you ever wished to have set online for you while you’re physically home all through one device, one technology, THE INTERNET !
This is where designers such as me get to work and make tons of money :) This is where artists get to put their magic touches. For example, instead of websites, you can build your 3D building and 3D office online. A design just for you. Designers and architects will build 3D online offices and buildings. Your website is your building/ office. People will come and visit this 3D or 4D building, enter the building, and then talk to your secretary (Who’s going to be a real person working from his/her home as well) to take an appointment or smth. There are a lot more to say about the future of these technologies. And it is not impossible, IT IS REALLY POSSIBLE :) This is the second world, the second life, The Virtual World. We all have to agree that one day, in the very near future; we’re all gonna be there :)
That’s my point of view, what’s yours?
P.S. Sorry for my bad english btw.
Have a wonderful, healthy and prosperous new year !
